+ 1 dropper top

+ 3 felt dryer balls

grabbing your starter kit is simple! simply click here & follow the 5 steps below!

1. check "Wholesale Member" (this is really important!) rather than "Retail Customer". no strings attached here — it simply gets you your kit + a 24% wholesale discount for the year.

2. choose the starter kit w/the dewdrop diffuser or desert mist diffuser (unless you want to upgrade to the rainstone or aria (MY FAVE - the wood + glass one!) pro tip: this is the cheapest way to get the aria diffuser !

My favorite diffuser is the desert mist diffuser. It has a candle flicker setting & runs 10 hours. It’s also gorgeous.

The starter kits start at $165

3. Now, you can  set up a monthly wellness box (called Essential Rewards). this is my faaaavorite part of young living! it is hands down the best way to begin a nontoxic lifestyle, & receive SO many freebies/rewards points in the process!

I do recommend in addition to getting your Premium Starter Kit to sign up for Essential Rewards Kit for the best savings and perks (see more below)

This is optional, best thing to do is select your PSK, then click the box below, reading, “Use the selected Premium Starter Kit as my first Essential Rewards order and sign me up for an Essential Rewards subscription". IN OCTOBER, you'll get an extra 10% back in store credit + nutmeg oil + bamboo/wood roller bottle! you can cancel at anytime with no fees or anything weird like that.

FAQ on Essential Rewards:

  • No monthly commitment– essential rewards is optional! if you want - you can literally just order your starter kit and that is it! Then say you decide you want more lavender a couple months later you can just pop in and buy lavender at wholesale!

  • No renewal fee; (simply purchase a minimum of $50pv of product per year and your account stays active)

  • No order minimum – order whenever you like, as often as you like, at 24% off retail prices

  • Although Young Living calls their wholesale customers “Distributors” this does NOT mean that you are signing up to sell oils and there is absolutely no pressure to do so – ever.

  • Member number - you’ll get a member # & link to share with friends; if they order using your member number, you’ll receive compensation- if you join essential rewards and spend $100pv a month. (Again, enrolling as a “Distributor” does NOT mean that you have to share oils with anyone; although, once you discover how wonderful they are, it will be hard not to tell your friends!)

FAQ on ORDERING your Starter Kit and signing up for Essential Rewards: (this is optional)

  • When placing your order on STEP 1– select the tiny box “use my starter kit as my first essential rewards order” ** If you want to add to your order you can to get the promos for that month ($100 of your starter kit will count towards this months promo).

  • Then make sure to go in and customize your essential rewards order BEFORE the next month comes (you will get an email notification).

  • I recommend Essential Rewards over doing “quick orders” each month. Essential Rewards ends up costing around $50 for 50pv. Bundle all the items you want & place it on your essential rewards order and get the promos!

  • You get 10-20% back in points each month, you can purchase products that you would be buying anyways (shampoo, vitamins, toothpaste) while hitting that 50 PV (Product value – typically one point per one dollar). Cancel anytime!!

  • For the United States, the gifts from young living are:
3-month gift: Peppermint Vitality essential oil, 5 ml
6-month gift: Thieves Vitality™ essential oil blend, 5 ml
9-month gift: Melaleuca Alternifolia essential oil, 15 ml
12-month gift: Loyalty, an exclusive blend formulated by Young Living Founder D. Gary Young specifically for Essential Rewards members who order for 12 months!

I create a wellness box every month to have shipped to my home. Here are my top 5 outside the starter kit!

1. Progessence plus //I roll onto my forearms and face every day. It helps with hormone support and makes my skin glow.
2. Tranquil roller // you neeeed this! HELLO GOODNIGHT REST. I roll it all over my neck and feet for a deep relief!
3. Northern lights oil + Orange Diffuser blend // One of my favorite blends to diffuse before bed. It helps calm my mind and smells like a walk in the woods.
4. Thieves Roller // smell THE best & it helps with supporting your immune system. I roll it on my feet and arms every day before I go to work.
5. Sandalwood Cream // It smells AMAZING and it helps create smooth skin. I have been using it all pregnancy to help with preventing stretch marks.

Where to Apply your Oils

Oils, Young LivingMeaghan White

If you are just starting your journey with essential oils, one of the first questions you might have is where to apply them. In fact this is a question I get asked all the time.

Anytime you apply, rub, or massage essential oils into your skin, your experience starts with sensory receptors. These receptor cells are all over your body, and they do some pretty powerful stuff. Let’s talk about what these human body receptors are and why they’re so amazing!

What is a receptor, and how does it work?

Receptors are protein molecules that have binding sites on them for different types of molecules. When an external molecule finds a binding site it fits in, it communicates with your brain through electrical signals. These signals can go to your muscles, organs, or—in the case of your olfactory receptors—the amygdala, which is involved in the emotions you experience.

Some familiar receptors are your taste buds. When you eat, the food or drink interacts with saliva, and molecules bind to the taste receptors in your mouth. These receptors come in contact with nerve cells, which communicate a particular flavor to your brain.

Another example of receptors in action is Cool Azul Pain Relief Cream. When you apply it to your skin, it triggers receptors and sends cooling signals to the brain. That’s why you can feel the tingling sensation all over your skin!

Your body has these amazing receptors all over, so there are plenty of places you can apply essential oils. Check out this graphic to see where you can get started!

DIY Fall Room Air Freshener

DIY, Young LivingMeaghan White

Hello Friends! Today I am sharing how to make a bottle of the best smelling air freshener scent. I love to spray this on my couch pillows and blankets right before friends come over or on my fresh towels before I put them in the linen closet.

*I used, I used Clove, Cinnamon Bark, Orange, and Nutmegbut feel free to mix and match your favorite scents. For more ideas, check out our list at the end of this post.

1. Combine essential oils in a spray bottle.

2. Add witch hazel and mix well.

3. Fill to the top with distilled water.

4. Shake well until thoroughly combined.

Shake well before using to make sure oils are fully incorporated. Spray around your room on blankets, pillows, linens, and even your bedsheets.

You can bet your bottom dollar there’s science behind this smell stopper! The ingredients in the DIY spray creates a barrier on the surface of the water, so odors can’t break free. The Witch Hazel act as stabilizers to help the essential oils and water mix.

It’s true. Essential oils make the best air fresheners. That’s why we used them in our odor-bustin’ DIY Fall spray.

Let's Talk Summer Hair Care

Young LivingMeaghan White

We will be living in the sun this summer break. Beach days, pool days, park days, lake days. And so on and so forth. We’ll literally just be living our best summer life.

But with all the summer fun, hairs get really dry, frizzy and hard to brush. Here are a couple DIY’s to help with that summer hair.

DIY Dry Hair Spritz

If your hair is dull or naturally dry, spritz this recipe over your hair throughout the day to keep it from looking dry, particularly if you are planning a day in the sun.

-1 cup distilled water

-10 drops Royal Hawaiian Sandalwood

-10 drops Frankincense Essential Oil

-8 drops Cedarwood Essential Oil

-8 drops Ylang Ylang Essential Oil

-1 tsp. V-6™ Vegetable Oil Complex

Add all ingredients in a 12-oz. spray bottle. Shake well before spritzing over hair, avoiding the roots.

DIY Detangler Spray

From a full day at the fair or the beach, summer activities can tangle up your hair. Smooth out knots with this hair detangler!

-1/2 cup Lavender Mint Conditioner (or other Young Living conditioner)

-1 1/8 cup hot (not boiling) distilled water

-3 drops Royal Hawaiian Sandalwood

-3 drops Cedarwood

-3 drops Frankincense

Put conditioner into a 12-oz. spray bottle. Add distilled water and shake. Add essential oils and shake again. To use, spray on dry or damp hair, focusing on the ends.
